Cosmic Cow Pie: Connecting the Dots

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2012

Another reason to GO GREEN!   Most Americans love a reason to celebrate.  The crazier, the better. This fun-loving holiday attracts all cultures, because everybody’s Irish on St. Patrick’s day!!
This not not only a cultural holiday, but a religious one as well.  St. Patrick is known as the Patron Saint of Ireland prominently for bringing Christianity to Ireland.  Lots of legends and embellished tails have been told.  It is believed that St. Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Trinity (the father, son and the holy spirit) to the Irish.  That he put a curse on venomous snakes in Ireland where it drove them into the into the ocean and they drowned.   There are numerous others.  I recommend you check out “The Holiday“, where everything you’d ever want to know is there!
How about starting off St. Patrick’s day with green milk and Lucky Charms cereal or simply slice a bell pepper horizontally and place them on each slice of pizza and bake.  Makes a great shamrock!!  Or perhaps a St. Paddy’s Lucky Punch would quench your thirst…

So let’s raise our glass, make an Irish toast, speak the blarney, find the pot of gold or the elusive Leprechaun together on this day, March 17th!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day

With a German / French heritage I have little personal claim on St Patrick's Day, but that doesn't stop me from celebrating. I plan on taking my wife to a favorite Irish Pub for dinner. Have a good one!

Hi Don - I have German ancestry, too.  Beer sounds Octoberfest/St Patrick's Day to me.  Enjoy a wonderful dinner with your wife.  Corned beef and cabbage by any chance?
