Fun quiz!  I got about half of them right.  I figured Pig Pickin had to be in the south!  Best of luck and have a great weekend!

That was an interesting read. I had no idea about Henry Ford's invention of charcoal . . .

Pamela, I love eating it, love cooking it but I got to admit I didn't fair so well with the quiz.  Pig Pickin sure sounded like Arkansas..Aren't they the Razor Back! Well kind of a pig!  Enjoy the Labor Day Holiday!

Hey QuickFreeMLs - (Sorry, I couldn't find your name.)  The things you learn, huh?  I found that to be interesting, too.  Enjoy your weekend!

Great point, John.  Maybe Arkansas should be the Pig Pickin' state, too.  By the way, I would vote for eating and cooking over taking a trivia test anyday.  I think you're still on the right track.

Sounds like fun, Kerrie.  Have you tried grilling thick pineapple slices?  They would go great with your chicken and veggie burgers.

I know, Li.  That surprised me, too.  Don't really think of other countries BBQing.  Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

Pamela,

Interesting facts about BBQ.  Love good BBQ; however been too hot to prepare at home.  Maybe about 4 more weeks of this heat.

Hi Pamela, this is very interesting! Who doesn't love a BBQ, we are lucky enough to be able to barbecue year round here in St George.

Hi Richard - Can't wait for the weather to cool down either.  Our BBQing consists of running outside to flip whatever's on the grill and then running back in the air conditioned house. :o)

Hi Erika - For those of us who are simmering in the August heat, your comment was just cruel! (Tee hee)  Great comment for how great St George is, though.  Enjoy your holiday weekend!

Here on Cape Cod they call cooking on the grill bar-b-q-ing. They don't understand brisket or pulled pork.
