Last Minute Gift of Ingredients!

Last Minute Gift of Ingredients!

Yes, you read that right..

Why not give the gift of ingredients for a special food dish!

Try this idea with any fun food you make and want to share a recipie and the ingredients with.

Put your creative hat on and think about what you cook that everyone loves, then go get the ingredients, print out the recipe and put it in a bag.

No matter what the event, birthday, Christmas, Valentines day this idea works and is something the receiver can use and think of you with warm thought while preparing!

Try it, you'll like it!

Time for Christmas gift giving is running out and this might be your answer!

A gift bag and the grocery store! Simple, then you are all set to give the gift of ingredients!

What are some last minute "gift ingredients" you can think of?

Carra, I am not quite that desperate yet, but I'm coming close. I'll use that as a backup. Brian

I've done similar things, Carra. This kind of gift is really fun for young adults starting out on their own. Pack up a favorite recipe and dry ingredients in the appropriate baking dish/casserole gift; toss in a grocery story gift card to cover the fresh ingredients needed -- voila!

Hey Carra - Don't know what I'm missing.  Your video won't play for me.  The message says it's a private video and I have to make sure I accept your friend request.  Hmmm.

Brian ~  Happy to hear you are so organized.

Lottie ~  I love the idea of the dish and the gift card.. going that extra mile!  Great idea.

Pam ~  You were right.. when I created the video I had it private.. forgot to change before posting.. got it changed now.. thanks so much!

Thanks for tips, Carra.  Gotta love those special gifts.  It lets you know someone has really put some thought into it.

What a great idea!   For that person you cannot figure out what to do for....

Pam ~  Really those are the best kinds of gifts!

Dagny ~   Yes.. for the person who has everything!  Perfect idea!

That's a great idea Carra!  If I revealed the ingredients for my favorite recipe, macaroni and cheese, I would lose friends.  There is so much "bad stuff" in it...that's why it's so good!

I may use that next year.  Thanks for the idea!

Tricia ~  Actually this can be a anytime gift!  But your mac and cheese sounds yummy!

What an interesting idea, although if anyone is like me and doesn’t cook, maybe a gift certificate to a good restaurant…. J♪♫♫♪

Carra--I am glad that you fixed the video.  I will use this gift idea for birthdays throughout the year.  I have received food baskets before, but never with recipe, too.  Good idea!
