Improve Your Face Time With These Facebook Apps

Sure, there are lots of Facebook apps to choose from.  So many of these, however, want you to fill out surveys or try to navigate through an ocean of spam to get to the good stuff.  There are some apps out there that are not only useful, but fun to use.  Improve your face time with these Facebook apps:

PageRage
If you're tired of the same blue and white background on your Facebook account, PageRage allows you to use one of its hundreds of templates to add graphics to just your Facebook profile page or all pages you view on Facebook.  These graphics are only visible to you and no one else and they are only available when viewing your Facebook account using Firefox.  It is downloaded as a Facebook app and Firefox add-on.  So, whenever you want to change your background, you simply click the link in your toolbar, choose the template you like, apply it and you're done!  Unlike MySpace, PageRage backgrounds are only visible to you, not anyone else.  You can be as silly or crazy as you want without anyone else being the wiser.  You can also change your background to fit the season, an event or your mood.  It really is super simple.

PageRage allows you to add graphics to your Facebook background for your viewing pleasure.

Docs on Facebook
Although not a replacement for Google Docs or Microsoft Office (at least not yet anyway), Facebook's new Docs app utilizes Microsoft Office elements so that you can upload and share documents between your Facebook friends, including Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and pdf files.  You can even integrate Facebook data from you and your friends into slideshows and more.  Right now, this app will redirect you to the new Docs.com Beta website when you want to share or upgrade information.

RSS Graffiti
If you have your own hosted blog or website, you can keep post them on your Facebook account using the RSS Graffiti app.  As long as you have a valid RSS feed, you can use Twitter, Flickr or other sites to post to your Facebook account.  It only takes a couple of minutes to set up and you're good to go.

I know there are so many apps available on Facebook that it can seem overwhelming to decide which ones work for what you want.  Real Estate Professionals have little enough time to try to separate the useful apps from ones they can just let go.  In this blog post, I've tried to make it simple to improve your face time with these Facebook apps.

Hi Brian - So much to learn - so little time.  Be sure to add your business pages to your new Facebook account.  If you have any questions about how to do this, just let me know.
