Is golf a sport you enjoy?
Think about coming to Williams, Arizona to get off the hamster wheel at the Elephant Rocks Golf Course.
The sky is so blue and the air is so light you will never want to leave!
Williams, Arizona is the "Gateway to the Grand Canyon." Come and enjoy Rt. 66 and many fun activities through the fall season. Don't miss Bearizona on your way to the Grand Canyon. The burros, buffalo, rams and bears will make you want to come back for more mountain living and outdoor entertainment
We tool around town in our multi purpose machine aka Williams wheels.
The back is the perfect place to pack with golf clubs or a cooler for lunch by the lake.
In the winter we are ready to plow snow with the detachable blade.
It just doesn't get a lot more fun than this!
Leave the big city life behind and come enjoy life the way it should be.
Slow and relaxed, become part of nature and time gone by.
You can feel the earth move under your feet at "Elephant Rocks Golf Course"

Hey Carra, those are some beautiful shots of the golf course. I remember my family and I took a trip on route 66 in Arizona, just amazing, I would love to do it again some time :)
FORE! Great pix and so temting to take of from work...grap the golf clubs and play :) Thank you for the infromation and pix.
Sounds like a great time you have out there. Beats snow any day of the week.
Thanks for the mention, Carra. One of these days I am going to make it up there to the G.C. and I will be sure to check this course out.
James ~ too funny! We only drive the machine around town and to the golf course.. not ON the golf course but it is part of how we get around in Williams, Arizona.
Ginny ~ I had a great golf day yesterday.. bogey golf on the 1st 2 holes and a par on the 3rd.. great day for me.. we won't talk about the rest of the holes but it all started good. I did not know you were a golfer too so added a link to you to the list above.. you do beach front and vacation property so well!
Ed~ you know I actually think of you when we golf.. you love the game and share the fun you have! Anyone who loves golf would love to connect with you!
Carole and Laura ~ Would love to have you come back for a visit! Would be happy to show you Bearizona!
Paul ~ I say do it! Go play golf..the rest can wait... enjoy the fall and have some fun!
Robert ~ yes.. snow to a golfer is not a good 4 letter word!
Mary ~ I have seen your pictures.. you live in a peaceful area too! You would love it here.. come for a visit! Isn't AR a great community where we get to learn about each other and refer people across the country!
Jane ~ I really want you to come and golf! You are most welcome.. anyone looking for property in LA would really enjoy working with you.
Carra - My four kids and I took a major road trip in 1993. We stopped in Williams overnight and took the train to the Grand Canyon--it was a wonderful day trip, then we hit the road and headed for Iowa to visit relatives.
Carra: You've certainly got my attention! I'm ready for a trip. Sounds and looks beautiful.
It is going to become a necessity for me to take up golf soon. Between being on the phone with short saleb banks and unreasonable clients, my blood pressure is out of control. This looks like what I need.
Noram ~ Sounds like a great trip! Now you can say you know someone in Williams... the train is a fun experience.
Leslie ~ I find lots of people from Flagstaff come to Elephant Rocks to golf.. it is very reasonable and no pressure... real relaxation!
Tish ~ come on over... the Grand Canyon is 1 hour away and Bearizona is 5 minutes away!
Chris Ann ~ Just a heads up... take lessons or it could also be a stressful event! When I first started I had a hard time getting my head out of real estate for 3 hours.. and I was thinking about my "issues" while trying to hit the ball.. didn't work to well.. now I leave my "issues" behind.. it is a real head game.. and your head needs to be in golf to relax :)
Carra, Thank you so very much for including me in this group! I am happy to help anyone who contacts me regarding listing or buying, or leasing in all of the Palm Springs, CA area... including Palm Desert, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs, La Quinta and Indio! Carra-- you are a true ActiveRAin ambassador and you are so kind to "pay it forward" ! All the best, Kathy
Kathy~ We have a mutual admiration society.. the activerain community is a great place to meet real estate agents who are real people sharing their experiences in a fun and interesting way! Thank you for making this a fun place to share!
Hey Carra - fun post! Wish I was cruizing around the course right now! I love playing - and can't wait to start again soon. Thanks for the mention! I am the golf course property queen - gives me a good reason to go play with my great clients. Woo Hoo!
Anna~ I really need to come down and play with the "Queen" shall we play at Moon Valley?
Carra ~ I'm not a golfer, but who could resist Elephant Rocks Golf Coarse?! I lov the name!
Dawn~ It was mentioned someone could feel the earth move.. then I thought about the song!
Carra, well the rocks are an unusual feature...is there a story about the rocks and how they ended up there...remnants of an ice age?
I have never been on a golf course, unless you include putt-putt golf. I wasn't even interested in it until Tiger Woods came along, but I lost my interest around November of 2009 for some strange reason.
