A Good Day On Facebook!

A Good Day On Facebook!

This evening, I was busy getting ready for Monday and thought I would check facebook one more time before closing the computer.

I read the update from Liz Miller and was singing praises for social media!

Now that  is the type of sharing I would like to see everyday on my facebook wall!

        Facebook wall post

The update reads:  Liz Miller " I have a referral for you in Williams.  Just Call Liz!

You can see from my response to her comment that I was dialing right away to connect.

Carra Riley:  Woo hoo...Liz love the new picture.... I am dialing now.

I called Liz, we talked, made the connection and the client will be in the loop tomorrow!

I sent Liz a Thank you on her real estate page, Lake Havasu City Area Real Estate with an open invitation to post some of "great deals" on my Real Estate page,   Williams Arizona Real Estate Unique Boutique to share with some of my like/friends who are always looking for deals!

Networking is taking a whole new level of connections and visibility with social media.

If you have a real estate or business page you would like me to like and favorite, please send me an invitation or come post a link on Williams Arizona Real Estate Unique Boutique.  We have thousands of visitors from all over the world come to Williams, Arizona on their way to the Grand Canyon.  I think it would be fun to have "great deals" from around the country on the page with other Williams Scoop!  Who knows what doors might open by sharing opportunities.

This is just a reminder to get your Localism page set up on facebook and connect to a local channel on youtube to get your "branding package" unified.

Someone asked me the other day if I had ever gotten business from Facebook, you betcha, I sold a house that way, buyers found the listing on my FB page!  I also got a listing from Facebook and the sellers have spread word to their friends.  I am a believer in social media!

Great story Carra.  I wish I could get the hang of Facebook, but still don't understand what is where.

Marilyn ~ Have you written a blog post about your facebook success?  I would love to be able to share a story like that with others.  Send me the link if you wrote it or now you have new content that MANY would love to read!  Thanks Marilyn.

Jane, Jane, Jane ~  It's very easy.. Do you have a fan/like business page set up yet?  That is the first step.  It has to connect from your personal page but then you post and do all your business from your business page.  I am working on a couple posts that might help.... I missed something about the purple star on your picture.. what is a "Called Shot Master?" I need to check and see if I have a rain camp badge.

Carla ~ yes, fun way to start the week!

Bryan ~ It seems like a lot in cyberspace but all the dots start to connect... do you have a business page?

Carra - Social media is part of our life to function. I think, social media is the future.

John ~  The great thing about social media is the view it gives the public of what someone in business is doing.  They can watch from a distance and then dive in when the time is right.

Norma ~  It all takes practice so you are on the right path to just start working on it.. Come on over and practice on my wall.. we all have a lot of fun!

Joan ~  That's what I thought when I saw the update on my wall.. So many people are skeptical of social media... it is like any type of marketing.. it takes time and consistency!  Thanks Joan.

I'm trying to work Facebook into my daily activities, but it's not there yet. It's still on a weekly basis.

Although I'm on Facebook -- a year in August -- I still find it difficult to do anything substantive.
