Live at GRI 101 in Flagstaff Arizona Sponsored by Lawyers Title.

What a fun day in Flagstaff, Arizona!

Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation of Flagstaff sponsored a great day of learning by sponsoring the GRI 101 class “Selling & Marketing Strategies”

Joeann Fossland and Dave Compton are great instructors sharing the 21st century selling and marketing strategies.

Jamie introduced himself and shared that he had 11, yes, eleven children with five between 3 and 23 years old.  He and his wife adopted 8 children within the last 5 years to give them an opportunity to grow out of a drug environment and change their lives.

He compared his gift to those wonderful children to a Real Estate agents opportunity to give to buyers and sellers and make a difference in their lives!

Jamie also shared the fact that his mother at 80 is still selling real estate and making a difference in people’s lives.

Thank you Jamie, for a great way to frame what a real estate agent does.. Making a difference in a buyer or sellers life.   Sounds like a great blog post idea.

The presentation of the breakfast buffet provided by Lawyers Title was beautiful!  What do you think?

Thank you Lawyers Title and Jamie Banks for sponsoring the GRI 101 class for the Northern Arizona Association of Realtors.

The breakfast buffet and snacks are sincerely appreciated.

I've been considering getting my GRI designation. What did you think about the program when you got certified?

Carra, Jamie sounds like an extraordinary person. What a treat to get to hear him speak. And I wish I hadn't looked at the buffet when I was hungry...

Carra ~ enjoy the GRI classes.  There is a ton of information to be had.  Good luck!

Christopher ~ I am glad you asked that question.  I got my GRI in 1980 right after I started in real estate.  I think it is the perfect program to get started or for seasoned agents to fine tune listing and sales skills. Joeann Fossland taught the morning session and had EVERYTHING tied into social media and how it integrates in the prospecting skills of today. She really gave some 21st century ideas.  You should put that on your TO DO list...... NOW you will not be sorry!

Susan ~ Jamie was such an inspiration.. it inspired me to create the video and post right in class...... I think all our affiliates who help educate our real estate community all deserve a HUGE Thank you as they continue to support what we do no matter what the market is doing.  The presentation showed how taking the extra step to make it pretty really does make a difference.  We had beautiful colored snack bags in the afternoon!  A lesson in marketing.. make the client feel special!

Dawn ~ I love the GRI program.. I was auditing the class to see the changes since 1980...  lol.. that was a LONG time ago.  I wanted to see what the differences were.  Joeann Fossland did a great job sharing niche marketing and social media ideas. The Basics are still the basics it is just how they are stepped up to reach today's buyer and sellers.

Carra,

While I was reading this as a real estate post, I'm impressed with the fact that he has 11 children.

We have 5, and that was quite a handful, particularly for my wife.
