Activerain's Ed Silva shares Secrets from Waterbury, CT

Hear Ed Silva, co/owner of RE/MAX Partners on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. talk about the Real Estate Secrets of the Waterbury CT area on blogtalkradioCall in to 347-994-1903 or listen on the computer and ask questions in the chat room!

Ed Silva has lived in the Waterbury, Connecticut area his entire life.Ed Silva  His professional career started out as a design engineer for an aerospace company in CT. Unfortunately the down turn in the aerospace industry in the early 70's made his tenure was short lived.

Ed turned to machine design and plant engineering, and went specifically into wet process equipment as relates to manufacturing companies and their environmental wastes.

He was a national sales manager for 2 well known companies in the wet process equipment arena. As the industry evolved over the years and the manufacturing base in this country shrank because of movement to the Pacific Rim, his travels got too exhausting and he turned to real estate, just so he could be home every night, and not every 5th night.

Ed secured his real estate license in 2004, and in late 2005 started the RE/MAX Partners franchise with a partner. Professional education and development are important to ED so he has obtained different designations so as to better serve his clients. His most recent designation was the CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation, which is already providing value to several clients in trouble with existing loans. He actively participates in activerain, a real estate information and blog site.

Ed has lived in the Waterbury area his entire life, and after having traveled around the country on business for so many years, he finds it a great place to come back to.

Aside from his wife, Cauna, his other love is the game of golf, and he occasionally writes about it. There once was a time when he seriously wanted to try to become a professional on the Seniors' tour, he says:  "the support at home wouldn't allow for that.  I still enjoy the game, even if it's not as good to me scoring wise.  The camaraderie and friendships are a great reward, as well as the business I get form the members."

Set a reminder to hear Ed Silva owner of RE/MAX Partners on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.  You will love his humor and we will discuss Real Estate Secrets of Waterbury, CT on blogtalkradio. Call in to 347-994-1903 or listen on the computer and ask questions in the chat room!

We look forward to talking to you in cyberspace!

 Carra and Ed,

This sounds like it will be an interesting show.

Just to make sure, all you do is call the number that was noted?

Rebecca,

No worries.. you can always listen to the show after it airs... just look at the blogtalkradio widget on the side of my profile and click on the episode you want to listen to....  You should consider doing a show with me too.. talking about your market area!  Think about it as the goal is to highlight real estate all over the country and what is going on!  Have a safe trip!

Carra,

Thanks, I gather that I would just be able to listen, but able to type questions on the computer?

I'm not very "techie".
