Create a Professional Presentation for FREE with SlideShare

As a virtual assistant, I am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest programs, gadgets, widgets, what-have-you that will not only make my business thrive but those of my clients as well.  I came across a fantastic program to create a gorgeous slideshow absolutely FREE and just knew I had to share it with my readers.

Are you looking for a way to create a professional presentation to share with other real estate professionals, clients or co-workers?  SlideShare may be just the thing for you.  Simply sign up for a free account and, within minutes, you are ready to go.  SlideShare is a cross between a video-sharing platform, like YouTube, and a social network, like Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.  Some of the things that SlideShare has to offer include:

  1. The ability to embed your own website or blog into your slideshow.
  2. Add audio to your SlideShare presentation.
  3. Market your slideshow.
  4. Share your slideshows publicly or privately.
  5. Add your slideshows to your LinkedIn or Facebook profile with the click of a button.
  6. Create and join groups with other people who share your interests.
  7. Create events and invite other SlideShare users.
  8. Create custom widgets to add to your blogs or websites.

SlideShare accepts many different forms of presentations and documents, including PowerPoint, Open Office, Apple Keynote, pdf, Word, Excel, and Apple iWork Pages.  You can upload an MP3 file to add audio to your own slideshow.  The maximum file size allowable for upload is 100MB.  So, that's alot of information you can share easily.

SlideShare offers some great customizable widgets you can add to your blog or website.  The SlideShare Playlist allows you to add your uploads, your favorite SlideShare presentations or groups/events.  The Presentation Pack allows you to choose a feed from your tags, favorites, groups, events or your own uploaded presentations.  You can create your own minibadge to link your SlideShare profile to your blog or website.  And the Blog Sidebar Widget is a great way to add the feed of SlideShare presentations from your own uploads, your favorites, tags, groups or events.

If you want to create a professional presentation for free, SlideShare is the perfect program for you.  Visit their website and get started on your project today.
